My baby is getting so big~!! (๑^ں^๑) 彼はとってもかわいい、でしょう?
I took this photograph of him while he was just relaxing on the sofa with me. He likes to curl up next to me on the top while I am on my laptop or tablet haha ❤❤❤

Everyone says I spoil him too much (and yes, it's probably true, but I can't help it!).  He is just so cuuute. So whenever I go shopping I do tend to look at any pet departments or head off to the pet store to find him something new. Unlike other cats I've had or known Loki-pi is really into playing with his toys. Not just those dangling cat toys either but stuffed toys, any small fluffy mice (or catnip soft toys) and balls. He likes to kick the crap out of these, throw them around and chase the balls around the room. So you can't really blame me for indulging him.

He is pretty smart too, so I am busy training him a little bit too. Nothing strict, but he has learned to give his paw, come here and sit. He is busy learning to sit up on his hind legs (something he likes to do himself, but I figured it would be nice on cue too).  He is almost there but tries to grab the treats impatiently instead if sitting up all cute. I wanted to get him better treats for all this training to make it more rewarding, but I am picky about what I give him.
There are a lot of crappy ingredients in most cat treats. I won't name brands but you should do some research yourself on some of the nasties out there.
I was lucky though, I happened to stumble on these really awesome cat treats in my local Wholefoods Market store.
Lily's Kitchen Little Lovelies! They aren't purrfection (see what I did?  Haha... Yeah I'm lame ;-;), but they are really high up there on the kitty treat scale. And Loki seriously loooooves them too! Of course I also love that they are little heart shapes, that's just even more adorable. So now he is enjoying his training time even more!

And yes, you know I am giving him some when he isn't training too, because like I admitted earlier... He is just too cute and I can't help spoiling my baby!!  ≧▽≦

Hello! So my blog had a rough start, what with my old laptop being such a painful disappointment to me. Seriously, it was hell to work on and I couldn't run my art programs etc. Ugh!Image and video hosting by TinyPic
But now I have a nice new PC that works well, so I am happily picking up where I left off.

My birthday was on the first day of spring. Yes, spring is officially in full bloom. I had a lovely time, despite not really being in the mood for it originally. I have been feeling very sad and disconnected.
I was treated to breakfast and had a lovely dinner with everyone. My mother made me a cute sakura blossom shaped cake with little blossoms on it. So cute!! I LOVED IT! It was really yummy too (it was vanilla cream flavour). Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I got some really nice cherry blossom themed items along with an adorable maneki neko ornament and some cute bath items from Lush cosmetics. I got some of the new Easter items, which I haven't tried yet (they smell really amazing though) along with a couple of regular favs. (pop in the bath bubble bar & sultana of soap). Then of course, I got the new PC (yay!). So it was all super lovely.

The day after I had a girly birthday day out treat. We went to druckers Vienna Patisserie for some coffee and treats. I really liked their yummy coffee cream eclair and a caffe latte. It was pretty nice, they have some cute cakes and treats along with really good Italian coffees.

Then we went shopping a little, where we stopped at a nice jewellery & accessories store Love Forever. They have such pretty items there, its just so sparkly everywhere! I was treated to a really pretty hair comb accessory too, which made me feel spoiled.  Image and video hosting by TinyPic

After that we went to the sushi bar, Yo! Sushi. It was really fun there, the staffwere awesome, super friendly and upbeat. We had some yummy sushi (avocado maki, salmon maki, tamago nigiri, inari pockets etc). I didn't photograph everything (I actually forgot) but you get the idea. Oh yes, their Japanese matcha tea was also very good, and we got free refills so I was really happy about that. They had a nice edamame soya bean salad too and tasty chicken gyoza dumplings and chicken teriyaki on a bed of cabbage.

They also had really good anko mochi (it wasn't on the belt though so we had to ask for it, and it was worth asking for!), but the best was the strawberry cheesecake mochi!! Oh my word, that was amazing. Definitely worth trying if you are there. I want to try and re-create that mochi at home sometime, it really was that good!

I had my cute sakura necklace on while we went out and it matched my whole birthday theme and the beautiful spring day! Our trees are all starting to bloom and didn't disappoint on my birthday (the apricot blossoms opened first, the peach blossoms are starting now and the cherries are going to follow soon).

It was a really fun two days, and I really appreciated everything. Everyone was lovely to me and made it feel special. I know I wasn't looking forward to it, I have been kind of depressed lately so I wasn't very interested in celebrating anything. But I couldn't help but enjoy myself this year so I am again truly grateful to everybody. Thank you so much! Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I am feeling a bit icky from a cold at the moment. Not the best way to get started on here, I'm sorry, but hopefully I will be better soon!

The bright side is that I had some yummy miso soup today! Whether I am feeling ill or not I enjoy a nice soup on chilly days and it has been kind of cold outside the whole day. Autumn is surely on its way fast, though I am really happy about it seeing as it my favourite season! Actually I think it is officially Autumn here tomorrow. Whoop! Bring on the the seasonal spices, squashes, autumn accessories and clothing.

When I am not feeling too good I  usually like to snuggle up with some old classic movies or nostalgic movies from childhood. I know, I am lame, but its comforting and definitely makes you feel better!
It is a hard call to make but I picked out The Sound of Music and Kiki's Delivery Service! A good old Rodgers & Hammerstein musical and an amazingly animated Studio Ghibli movie and I am set! I actually haven't watched Kiki's Delivery Service for a while so it is nice to revisit.

Well, I know this is just a little update but I'll post some cool stuff up soon enough. I hope you like the look of the blog so far, I am not finished adding little bits here and there. Hopefully it will come together nicely as I go along.
I hope you are all feeling well!
